Hacking For Good Participates in SVPSA Fellowship Workshop to Support Local Nonprofits

This November, Hacking For Good was honored to participate in a recent workshop held as part of the Social Venture Partners San Antonio (SVPSA) Fellowship, a program dedicated to strengthening the leadership capacity of local nonprofit organizations. The session brought together sector leaders, community advocates, and technical experts to share knowledge and equip fellows with practical tools to advance their missions.

As part of the workshop, Hacking For Good contributed its expertise on cybersecurity assessments tailored specifically for small and under-resourced nonprofits. Our team provided guidance on how organizations can better understand their cyber posture, identify vulnerabilities, and prepare for the evolving threats facing the nonprofit sector today. We also shared insights on how nonprofits can use free and low-cost tools to begin monitoring their environments, engage their boards in meaningful cybersecurity discussions, and build long-term cyber resilience even with limited resources.

The Fellowship’s focus on strengthening operational capacity aligns closely with our mission, and we appreciated the opportunity to support participants as they work to protect the sensitive data entrusted to them. We look forward to continued partnership with SVPSA and to empowering more nonprofits with the knowledge and confidence needed to safeguard their communities.
