Cybersecurity may not be at the top of every nonprofit’s priority list, but a single cyber incident can disrupt operations, compromise sensitive information, damage donor confidence, and divert resources away from your mission. Organizations of all sizes are increasingly targeted by cybercriminals, making practical cybersecurity planning an essential part of nonprofit management.
This interactive, hands-on workshop is designed specifically for nonprofit leaders, staff, board members, and volunteers who are not cybersecurity experts to help you write clear, cybersecurity policies tailored for your organization. Using plain language, it will combine engaging, easy-to-follow demonstrations, guided discussion, customizable policy templates, and dedicated drafting time. Attendees will assess their organization’s current cybersecurity risks and begin developing policies and procedures tailored to their unique operations, capacity and resources.
